RoHS Directive
EU Directive 2002/95/EC
From July 1st, 2006 a new European Directive came in to force. The RoHS-(Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive 2002/95/EC of the EU.
The RoHS restricts the use of six hazardous substances in products sold into the EU:
• Mercury (Hg)
• Cadmium (Cd)
• Lead (Pb)
• Hexavalent Chrome (Cr-VI)
• Polybromated Biphenyle (PBB)
• Polybromated Diphenylether (PBDE)
Leotronics agrees to the use of `green products` and is committed to conducting business in an environmentally friendly manner. Leotronics is currently working closely with our suppliers to ensure that all Leotronics products are RoHS compliant.
