| Welcome to Leotronics |
|
Leotronics has been operating in the UK for twenty years, and has representatives throughout Europe, offering Molex compatible PCB connectors that meet UL and CSA approvals and full RoHS compliance. Molex a world leader in connector technology has created many standards which Leotronics measures it self by, we pride our selves at providing the very best in customer service at competitive prices, offering connector solutions for most industry markets, industry standard Molex connectors are generally offered from stock, complete cable solutions are offered from 0.5mm FFC style through to 1.27mm flat grey ribbon cable and the Molex 2.00mm 2.54mm and 3.96mm pitch discrete wire assemblies. If you are looking to reduce your cost or reduce the size please call our technical sales team with your Molex part numbers and we will be able to cross refer and offer you are alternatives to Molex JST and Tyco We have worked with the CviLux corporation since 1995, CviLux designs, manufactures and markets a comprehensive range of interconnecting products which are designed and made to meet OBM, OEM and ODM business worldwide. With such a broad product range, CviLux products can be found in most industries including computers, telecommunications, instrumentation, automotive, medical and consumer product applications. Call our technical department for your CviLux requirements. |
| The Leotronics PCB interconnection system can be used to create thousands of different configurations, thereby allowing each user to design a PCB connector system that is precisely suited to any application on 1.25mm (.049"), 2.0mm (.079"), 2.5mm (.098"), 2.54mm (.100"), 3.96mm (.156"), 5.0mm (197"), 5.08mm (.200"), 7.5-5.0mm (.295"-.197"), and 10.0-8.0mm (.394"-.315") pitch sizes. The system can provide all options necessary to complete any PCB connector design requirements and offers printed circuit board interconnection in a number of modes such as wire-to-board, board-to-board, cable or board-to-chassis. The design features also include a friction or positive lock for a secure mating of connector to header, and a moulded polarising rib that will ensure correct assembly. This provides a reliable, economical, quick and easy connection during the production process. Our range of High Current High Density Power Connectors is designed to offer complete flexibility through its wide range of possible configurations and options. In its 4.20 mm pitch size it is able to carry up to 9 amps per circuit and in the 3.00 mm option up to 5 amps per circuit. The system uses a robust box style crimp contact, which can accommodate a comprehensive wire range. The system ranges from 2 through 24 circuits all are fully shrouded and polarised with a positive locking mechanism to prevent accidental disconnection. Custom cable assemblies have been an important and growing area for Leotronics since entering into this market five years ago. As manufacturers of both flat ribbon cable and the IDC connectors, cable assembly was a natural progression for Leotronics. Our fast turn around times and more importantly competitive pricing have given us a leading edge over many of our competitors. Telecom connectors are an area Leotronics prides itself on, with strengths in both board level RJ11 and RJ45 and cabling suited for most European countries. Board level jacks are available in metal shielding with built in magnetic, or standard types, vertical mounted or right angle, single or multi-pole. We offer several different styles of board mounting, which include flange mounting, flush mounted or panel mount. Our recent product introductions covers RJ45 with integrated magnetic for LAN 10/100 BASE, and high speed Ethernet applications. Leotronics Type I/II
& III PCMCIA connectors conform to release
2.1 requirements available in single or double
deck options. The power and ground pins are longer
than the signal pins on the header. This ensures
that they mate first and thus protect the IC chips
from static electricity while being mated. High
reliability, low insertion force contacts, made
with High temperature material on all versions.
Applicable to low voltage (3.3V Cardbus Standard)
as well as normal 5.0V Cards Headers for type
III cards have a groove to be applicable to the
low voltage (3.3V) Cards. A complete full range of SMT RJ11 and RJ45 has been added as well as shielded couplers for panel mount applications. UTP and STP cables are made up to customer specifications, complete range of telephone hand set cords / curly cords can be made in most standard colours coupled with any type of line cord. |
